Your membership supports the Friends of Trailside Nature Museum, a registered 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to promoting a better appreciation and understanding of the natural world and the relationship between people and the land.

Through monetary and volunteer efforts, the Friends help support the services and programs offered at the Reservation. All memberships include a subscription to our newsletter.

Memberships at the Wood Turtle level ($100 annually) and above receive free vehicle entrance to the Reservation throughout the year.

The Trailside Nature Museum and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation are always looking for dedicated volunteers to assist us in our efforts to provide excellent programs and services, and our efforts to preserve the local biodiversity of Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.
There are a myriad of volunteering possibilities including but not limited to:
  • Trail Maintenance
  • Public Education
  • Maple Sugaring
  • Bluebird Box Monitoring
  • Exhibit Resign and Implementation, and Many, Many More.
