In the Winter of 2018 the Friends of Trailside Nature Museum funded a multi-year project on bobcats in the park.

The objective of the study is to increase our understanding of bobcat presence and behavior within Ward Pound Ridge Reservation by identifying individuals using unique patterns on their fur. Bobcats are studied with video footage obtained from trail cameras placed at bobcat-use sites throughout the park. Watch the video below to see bobcats in Ward Pound Ridge Reservation!
